Freedom to Marry Week 2010 - Feb 8-14th
Joplin Gay Lesbian Center encourages its friends and supporters to highlight marriage equality on Valentine's Day, Sunday, February 14th, during Freedom To Marry Week, February 8-14th. The Center encourages people to be out and open and to take a date or partner to a public event and to make it known that gay and lesbian couples are denied marriage equality in Missouri.
The Center also encourages its religious members to request or say a public or private prayer for or to think about the goal of marriage equality and how the denial of marriage equality affects other Missourians of faith.
